Jan Somers
Jan Somers born in 1964,a time hardrock-music still had to be invented.
`When I was a little boy I was very interested in that screaming sound that came out of the big black vinyl records from my dad`
It turned out to be the electric guitar.
Then came `Voodoo Chile`an awesome piece of music by the legendary Jimi Hendrix. From that moment Jan knew what he wanted; play the guitar himself!
As an autodidact Jan went to the Conservatorium in Arnhem in 1986 to study jazz music. He started his wild Rock&Roll life in 1988 when he was asked to join Vengeance. Jan made his appearance on one off the best Dutch hard-rock albums ever; Arabia
